We strive for diversity in our student body, enjoy a multi-cultural mix and embrace a diversity of views, self-expression, learning styles and cultures. Our student population derives from surrounding Chicago neighborhoods as well as from the south and southwest suburbs.

Our students understand that it is their responsibility to help create a scholarly environment in our classrooms. Ridge Academy students can be characterized in the following way:

Ridge Academy Alumni

We are proud of all graduates of Ridge Academy who have scored well on placement tests, received scholarships, and entered these outstanding high schools: Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, International Language Program of Morgan Park High School, Jones College Prep, Marist, Morgan Park Academy , Mount Carmel , Queen of Peace, St. Ignatius College Prep, Walter Payton and Whitney Young.

Ridge Academy alumni attend American University , Cornell College , Roosevelt University , Trinity Christian College , University of Chicago and Washington University .

As our elementary children move on and up in the world, we look forward to expanding this site to include their life stories. It will also be a place for alumni to keep in touch with the school and with one another. For now, we hope all who move on from Ridge Academy will use this site to keep their address records updated.
