Mission

Ridge Academy is an innovative, non-profit elementary school serving students in grades one through eight. Established by parents and designed by educators with a commitment to achievement, our rigorous curriculum places high emphasis on critical thinking and independent learning.

Ridge Academy's strength derives primarily from the school's unique mission. Central to its mission are three objectives:

1) To provide a safe, nurturing, multicultural learning environment in which individuality is recognized and diversity is celebrated.

2) To provide a challenging and stimulating environment that cultivates independent learning, deep understanding, and critical thinking.

3) To establish a strong partnership between the families and the staff of Ridge Academy.

These three objectives support the basis for the curriculum design and continue to guide daily and long-term school decisions.
