History

Ridge Academy opened its doors for the first time in September 2000. It was a grassroots effort by 21 families with the vision to create an educational haven that would combine rigorous academics, cutting edge teaching methods, and respect for and among the students.

After renting space in a church in Blue Island for one year, Ridge Academy purchased a building in the Beverly community. Parents pitched in to remodel and refresh the building to create incredible spaces in which children spread out and learn. Ridge Academy has earned the reputation as one of the premier elementary schools in the community.
