• Each ticket represents a chance to win one of the items listed on the next page. Tickets will be sold throughout the event until 8:30 p.m. and may be purchased with cash or with your bid number from one of the ticket sellers. The cost of tickets purchased with your bid number will be added to your total bill when you check out.

• Place a ticket or tickets in the container that corresponds to the item that you wish to win. The more tickets you put into a container, the greater your chances of winning that item. Remember to keep your ticket stubs as these are your receipts should you win an item.

• Winning ticket numbers will be announced at 8:40 p.m., at which time prizes will be given to the holders of the winning tickets.

• All items must be removed from the auction by the winners at their own expense.

Silent Auction Rules

• All items in the Silent Auction have bid sheets on the tables or nearby. Persons wishing to bid must do so by printing their name and bid number on the sheet. For your convenience, bid increments have already been filled in on the sheets.

• Each new bid must be written in the next available blank space on the sheet. Failure to bid using the bid increments indicated on the sheet will result in the offending bid being NULLIFIED, and the item will be awarded to the previous high bidder.

• Under no circumstances may the bid sheet be removed from the table except by an authorized Auction official, and only after the auctioneer has closed the table for bids.

• Announcements for table closings will be made prior to the closing. An authorized Auction official will close the table at the conclusion of the countdown. At that time, all participants will be asked to move away from the table and an Auction official will proceed to validate all bids by circling the winning bid. Any bid that is written following the table’s closure is invalid. Following the validation of the bids, the bid sheet will be taken to the Cashier’s Desk for placement on the winning bidder’s account

• In the event of a dispute, a member from the Auction committee will conduct a mini oral auction between the bidders. The highest bidder wins.

• Payment by the successful bidder is to be made tonight. You may pay with cash, check, or credit card or by special arrangement with Michelle Torrise, Event Coordinator.

• Items may be removed from the auction following payment, by presenting a paid receipt at the time of departure. All auction items must be removed from the auction by the purchasers at their own expense.

• Values set forth for items being auctioned are estimates and are not warranted by the Auction Committee for tax purposes or general value.

• The value of one-of-a-kind gifts, such as art works, autographed sports memorabilia, or similarly unique items, is the fair market value unless otherwise noted.

• Please pay attention to all restrictions, conditions and expiration dates on items, certificates, and services. Unless otherwise specified, services, tickets and certificates must be used within one year of the Auction.

• The Auction committee has attempted to clearly catalogue and describe all items presented for sale. This Auction, or the parties it represents, in no way will be responsible for the correctness of description, genuineness, authorship, or condition of items presented. Similarly, Ridge Academy makes no expressed or implied warranties on auction items other than those from the manufacturer which may be with the item.

• All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds.
